Country: VietnamThe Story behind my drawing:
Skateboarding. I drew this form of pushing the board when I was at Vietnam and got a little trip far from home with my friends. One of my friends accidentally took this picture with skateboard, containers behind the background and me. I decided to draw this picture because I see skateboarding as not only a sport but as a form of art that I greatly appreciate. I wrote it out with skateboards because I intended to directly present that skateboarding was able to apply to this project. To me skateboarding is more than just a sport, it is a way of expression myself and a way I can visually project and apply the ideas we have inside our heads. It takes a great deal of creativity and skill to be a skateboarder which is why I think of skateboarding as not only a normal sport, but instead we see it as a form of art.My connection to #Vancouver or what Vancouver evokes to me:
The weather in Vancouver is nice. It isn't too hot or too cold.
